Nervous to fly................?

I used to *love* to fly but I haven't for many years and now I think I have bad luck in life so I'll probably get on a plane destined to crash. But I *have* to fly within the next month unless I choose to drive 2,000 miles across the country, which I don't intend to do.

Any tips? Should I take a bunch of drugs or something and just be knocked out the whole way? lol

The "Official" report is fable-like, and those who say publications like 'popular mechanics' and national institute of technology (or whatever) debunked all the conspiracies - they're wrong. They may have answered a few, but there are still questions about what happened.

For those who is assuming "its just one of those people who thinks the government did it, why would they do such a thing to us" please re-read this: i am not saying the government did it - i dont know who did it, but that it looks like controlled demoltions! If you consider college frats: there are frat houses that have vows of secrecy amongst members to prevent outsiders knowing the house secrets and to keep them safe. So imagine what happens after college. 20-30 folks could have done this if they really wanted to, easily.

A good slogan for why you should move to the Untied Kingdom?

I'm doing a geography assignment where I have to write an essay for why someone should move to a country of my choice. I picked to UK, my reasons of persuasion were physical features that were superior for outdoorsy activities and beautiful sights(coastline, rolling green hills, blooming moorland, ancient forests, and a moderate mountain range. amazing music, ergo, BRITISH ROCK baby! :D Amazing location, for example some of the greatest tourist destinations are only hours away by plane, cities and places in most directions surrounding the UK not just close to ONE singular point. And finally, superb weather conditions. I have put all my creativity into this essay, and I have none left for the slogan, because I cant think of anything less than 20 words. :/ My geography teacher knows I'm brilliant in English so nothing stupid like "You should come here because we are awesome!", use advanced vocabulary too. You have my gratitude!

Okay, in detail, does anyone know of any videos online that are simulations or real footage of what its like to be a passaenger in a plane?

Im going to be traveling to China, and its a 20 hour flight, and im very nervous, so i wanted to perhaps see a video of what a plane ride looks like from a passenger's point of view.
To give my mind some calmness, so i dont freak out and cancel my flight.

I got my bags and walked over to get my ticket. I waved to my Mom, Dad and my baby sister. I was getting kind of scared, but I knew I would be ok. I sat down in A5 in first class. My mother won't let me go to my father's family reunion because we have to fly to get there. Help!?

My parents are divorced, and my mother has custody of me. Part of the custody arrangement says that my father cannot take me out of the state without my mother's consent. In the past this has never been an issue. During the summer we often pack up in his RV, and hit dozens of states right in a row. Next summer dad wants to switch things up. His family's hosting a big reunion in Ireland, and he wants me to come with him. This would be the first time in my life that I'd get to meet any of my dad's brothers or sisters, and only the third time that I'd meet my grandmother, who I talk to online almost everyday. She's expressed how excited the family is to finally meet me, so I'm really eager to go.

Unfortunately mom won't let me. Mom's afraid of planes. She refuses to let me go unless we go by boat, which is silly. I've tried to talk to her about this, but flying scares mom so much that she turns into a raving madwoman. All she does is scream, yell, and ground me. I know that this is really affecting her because any time I even mention the trip around her she goes pale, and clutches her chest like she can't breath.

I know this is hard for mom, but I don't want to miss out on the trip of a lifetime. Three months in Ireland seems so fantastic. My only option at this point is to ask that my father be given custody of me. I don't want to do that to my mom. Aside from this we've always gotten along so well. I consider her to be my best friend. So what can I do to get her to come around?
Cost and the amount of time I'll be there aren't issues. She's terrified of planes, period. She won't go near them, and she won't let me go near one.

Mine was when I was 7. I was scared to death because I heard once a plane needed the oxygen masks and they didn't come down. Then the plane goes into turbulence and I freaked out and started screaming. I got a lot of dirty looks. :D
I didn't do it on purpose, I just have aerophobia.

I really want to have a sleepover, but I had one on Friday night with my bff. Now I want to have one with my cuz. But now I don't how to convince my dad to let me have one. I also want to go to a movie also. But my dad will likely say no to letting my cuz go to a movie with us and sleepover at our house. And my mom is in Las Vegas and her plane lands around midnight so we gotta pick her up. I don't know how we'd do that with my cuz sleeping over but this is like the last day to have a sleepover until school starts since it starts on Tuesday in two days. Should we take her with? I don't think so. Wait until she falls asleep and then go because the airport is like an hour away so it would take two hours or so to get there and back? Probably not. Why are mobile phones prohibited on aircraft?

I want to know the actual technical reason why mobile phones have to be switched off while you are on a plane. I remember when, perhaps a decade ago, that planes boasted in-flight phones. There was a phone in almost every seat !!

What exactly are the mobile phones supposedly interfering with? Is the fear justified, or is this just another example of a pointless regulation?
I can't remember the precise reason, but early on the airlines cited some "serious" safety hazard. If I recall correctly, they claimed it could interfere with onboard controls or communication with the ground, but I think the respondants are right. It has nothing to do with the safe operation of the aircraft... right? If I switched on my phone, I would not be endangering the plane, correct?

First off i am not a new nazi, an anti semite. On the contrary i am jewish.(and most certainly not a self loathing one!)

I do not "deny the holocaust" as that would indicate that i believed that no people died under the nazi regime.

I do however seriously question what actually did happen and what would appear to me and many others the residue of allied propeganda.

To me it seems that its the last thread of allied propeganda that has has cluung on since the end of the war.

There is mass evidence of this having occured before, being believed, right up until the early 90's.

1)the soap story and the lamp shade story , has been entirely debunked by every one now officially (despite being belived)

2)the shrunken heads stroy also officially declared rumour (which was also believed and one was even made by the allies in the nuremburg trials to convince!)

3)It was held in nuremburg and told by survivers that gas chambers existed where it now held that gas chambers never existed.

4)now officially declared that they "re"constructed the gas chamber in aucshwitz to look like one.
However where is the proof that one ever actually existed in the first place?.. no arial photo taken by the allies at the time this was supposedly happening shows any holes where it was meant to have been administerd.. so reeconstructing accoring to what?--- supposed eyewitness accounts.

There are no (despire the misconception given to masses) german war time document ever mentioning the extermination of jews. infact the only reference to the "final solution" was eventual deportation. this is vastly documented.

there are no blue prints out lining any form of supposed gas chamber.

no admissions at nuremburg that anyone knew of this, even the officials, who were actually tortured into signing false affidavits (hoss was tortured into saying that he killed over 2 million jews in auschwitz alone and he was hanged for saying this, yet now it is offically accepted that this "admission" is wholly impossible.

no excuse that the germans got rid of these documents because the british were intercepting all of the germans transmissions. nothing of a sort was ever mentioned.

no trace in of the kyclon b gas used in the supposed gas chambers where there definitly would have been with repeated useage. yet there is in the delousing chamber which would have been used less!

not one body that nayone sees in any photo can been proofed to have died from gassing. no autopsey was ever carried out.

people were shot starved , all sorts , but where is the proof of homicidal gassings?.... the only proof is that of the survivers. yet they survived. how could they know what it looked like inside with out beinng killed?... it should be rememberd that the allies sent hundereds of paper sheets froma plane above the camps saying that gassing were happening in the middle of the war. maybe that why mass hysteria at the time cultivated this belif?

there just is no physical or scientifc or documenry evidence to support this claim. none.

Also the six million figure regarding jewsish people is incorrect. the sovirts claimed that 4 million died at auschwitz. now since the 90's it has been revised to about a million. yet they had the german documents all along and only said the truth when pressed for it. not only is this another propeganda stunt found to be false (along with steam chambers and electro chambers) but it also shows that over 3 million has not since been deducted from the supposed 6 million

im just making the point that i feel personally it does not hold much water in reality. i mean theres so much more evidence to say it did not happen than to say it did.
i know there is sentiement. but i personally feel that when something just does not add up in the light of day, its because it isnt true.

really at the end of that rant, what i wnat to know is (because i know i cant make you have an interst in looking for yourself which is your right not to of couse) why do you really believe?

i would also like to add here that if you study eyewitness testomony from any case it generally speaking can be very unreliable (which the trails have shown in the light of day, to be both contradictory and also pure lies in certain instances)

single entry schengen visa?

hi, i have a single entry schengen visa. i'll go to iceland but i have to change planes at amsterdam cos' there's no direct flight to iceland from my hometown.
Q1) is my single entry schengen visa (valid for schengen states) sufficient to let me go first amsterdam then iceland and comeback on the same route.?
Q2) i fly with seperate airline companies. When i fly from my hometown to amsterdam, my luggage will come out. so should i make entrance to Holland (amsterdam) and pick my luggage and then go to departures to leave for iceland? in that case, they stamp my visa as i entered Holland, then i need to fly to iceland. will it be ok? does it effect my single entry schengen status?

I tend to suffer migraines at the worst of times and I don't want to be caught on the plane with nothing to take. I am wondering if I am allowed to take this with me in my handbag?
