What kind of bikes are available to people over 6 foot tall?

I am 6 foot 1 inch, and I quickly realized that motorcycles aren't usually made for taller people. I tried on a Ninja 250, and could fit if i adjusted my legs into a very cramped position, which was far from being practical. Having said that however, I am a highschool senior, and have next to no experience with motorcycles. So bikes with huge engines(and a bigger frame) are kind of a grey area for me. Is there any middle ground between a small bike for small riders, and an insane huge motor for anyone? Thanks for your time!

i need help before i go insane. question for anyone that knows about motorcycles.?

this has been driving me nuts for over a year now. i have a honda rebel 250 that ive had for a while. im gonna take a riders course soon to learn how to drive better because i kind of suck at it right now. in a couple years i thought about getting a new bike. but the problem is im stuck on these 2 beautiful machines. ones a honda cbr 600 (the sport bike) and the other is a harley davidson 1200 low. im 18 and i have to pick one of these babies to keep for a while. the problem is my dad and most the people we know are big harley riders or cruisers and im the only one in love with sport bikes. i LOVE this honda. i recently seen the harley and love it but not as much as the honda. in your opinion which bike do you think would be best for me? im in love with speed but im not stupid and can control myself. but i keep thinking, what if i wanted to go on long trips? would it still be worth having a sport bike or a comfy harley? the trips arent that long its probably about 50 miles. would that be bad on my back if i were to get a sport bike there priced the same. would sportbike insurance be more? would it be wierd to run with a bunch of harley dudes on a sport bike? do you think a sportbike would be right for me when i get better at riding? i mean cuz the position and feeling is completely different right? please please help i dont know what to do and im tearing myself inhalf. go with my dad that wants me to have a nice harley and he hates sportbikes? or follow the georgeous bike ive been wanting since i was 12 and madly in love with??

What does a motorcycle service manual contain?

Does it just have general "this is how you work your lights" information, or does it go through how to change the clutch cable, clean the carburetor, etc.?
So I'd want either the service manual or the factory service manual, right?

If I get the factory service manual, will it be too technical for me to understand?

What is it called when a person had control of having 2 different personalities?

I have a neighbor who is nice to his wife (unless she is going along with the charade). Yet he goes behind her back & says things which cause her to lose her friends. I have not told her what he said to me years ago. I stopped going to their house & she kept up with me so I just never mentioned it & made excuses not to be around him. Recently he had a motorcycle accident knowing he could barely walk because of diabetes & now he has bad burns on his legs. This happened on her first day back to work/school. He doesn't want her working cause they are at retirement age.

I think he purposely went out & angrily caused the accident to get her to quit her job. I was thinking he might be schizophrenic or have some other kind of mental problem but he seems to be able to act really nice in front of her face. He was gone for many hours the day of the accident & called a friend to come get him from the hospital but didn't call her just to keep her from worrying.

I would like to have some insight into this. His wife is a nice person. Very capable of taking care of hersefl, very positive. I would just like to understand what is going on with this man. Thank you.

I can't stand my brother?

Uh, he's so annoying. First off, he's a ginger. He apparently has no friends and got picked on in high school so now he's home schooled which cost, oh i don't know, five thousand dollars a year. But yet he bitches when my mom buys me clothes or whatever. His ass is so weird too. He creeps around our house constantly. One night I even woke up with him in my room! He's so fucked up that he throws up every time he has to go out in public. He never goes outside unless it's to ride his motorcycle. And he has to follow us every time we go somewhere with out him. Yet he still tries to talk shit about me. But whatever. And what disgust me the most is the fact we have to share the same bathroom. He leaves shit stains on the toilet, hair in the shower, and his soap laying around every where. The only social action he gets is the xbox with our cousin. He pisses me off so much that I'm joining the army in two years when I'm 17 so I can get the hell out of here. But he, already 17, has no plan for is future and will probably live at home forever. I know this wasn't a question but I felt like just had to say that.
Oh no, he tries to fight all the time. Or he used to. I just started beating his ass and he stopped.

Okay, so in my story, I have a character that's going to die of a fatal injury, and all I know for sure is that I need a huge window of time between the accident and his actual death? What kind of injury takes a long time to kill you? I'm talking like three hours maybe? I was thinking motorcycle accident, or he's shot with something...help?

Neighbour Nightmare - What to do?

I have the veritable neighbour from hell like many others I guess, where to start..

Moved in with my young family, wife and daugther, 2 dogs. The 'lady next door,' seemed nice enough, invited us round, alarm bells started ringing when she wanted her dogs to play on our land, my daugther to shower round hers if we not in, and basically trying to achieve living in our pockets and lives..! She also started telling us who wasn't liked on the crescent and why, and added at the end of many stories that she didn't tolerate arrogant people! ( Began to see why, as reflection is a hard thing to swallow )

We started to distance ourselves, then the fence needed fixing 'hers,' and I glibbly offered that if I could get round to it I would attempt to patch the dry rotting six foot fence. Whilst walking the dogs in park and chance encounter with 'crazy legs,'( fond nickname) she came upto both my partner and I and demanded we fix the fence stating she had told us to do it months ago! I stated I wasn't to well ( quietly suffering a hernia, confidentially) politing telling her i would get round to it but it was her fence and really she should do something.

The fence then became an issue as her dogs, one german sheperdish and little un decided to nearly come through the fence for our dogs, fearing injury I stated that the fence definitely needed replacing.

Then the sky fell in!! It turns out she rents from her son, (army) and lives two doors down from daughter (police), crazy legs apart from breeding rumours and discrimination in the other neighbours attempts at arguments instead of solving anything. Finally son replaces fence.. But states that not the original boundary but happy with new fence position as always been like this.

We no longer can discuss or even hold conversation with neighbour, after a while I decide to erect similar fence along side of house for privacy and better security, whilst working on floor in joint driveway, clearly visible, crazy legs drives in at 20mph+( I might add I was drilling at the time and not looking at the drive but being 6ft 2" I am pretty easy to spot on a 10metre joint driveway in the gap spanning 3m between the houses. She drives to within 2" of my thigh and thank god her brakes work. I look and she has got an expression on her face that ressembles her being a cat and me the mouse!

Disgusted and shocked I wrote a letter the next day, pointing out the esculating threats of intimidation and displays, social discrimination and general harassment. I state that she has gone to far and we want to live in peace (ex military self) and want nothing more to do with her and she should really speak to daugther regarding behaviour.

I might as well have stepped on a land mine and scattered myself over a large area! Son and visiting family members now block access to house, glare at every opportunity, daughter (police) stays out of everything and they all have closed around her!

They have now installed CCTV on joint driveway but camera also covers my secured motorcycle, son keeps chunterring he will take back the proper boundaries, basically take more of our garden! Crazy legs plays the part of innocent victim at every opportunity, daugther stays silent.

What can I do to protect my family! At every turn it gets worse and we are the victims! Its like were the bad guys!? If I do more it gets worse but if I do nothing we the family living downtrodden. What can I do against family in the law, established family who know all the bad lads on the estate, and son owner of property trying it on with boundary disputes?

I am slightly ashamed and at a loss, any advice most welcome?

Good beginner motorcycle?

Okay so I finally got my dad to let me buy a motorcycle once I graduate from high school and enroll in the local community college. (it will be my first motorcycle) I'm only really interested in sport bikes and have always liked the way the 2008+ Kawasaki Ninja 250r looks. I have been doing a lot of research this last week online and at dealerships and have realized that I might want something more than a 250cc. A lot of people on online forums say that a 600cc is a great starter bike, but others say a motorcycle such as a GSX-R600 is too much bike for a beginner. After reading more I have realized that a 600cc that isn't in the "super bike" class is a good starter. So now i'm really thinking about a used ninja 650r, preferably the newer body style. I sat on a ninja 650r and a 250r; they both were a great fit for me. I'm about 5'8" and 145 pounds. I'm also going to take the MSF safety course before I get the bike. I'm only buying a bike for recreational purposes because I already have a car for daily driving. I want something that I won't grow out of really quick, has some power, and will help me learn how to ride correctly. I know there's already a lot of questions like this on answers but I wanted to ask one for my specific situation. I would really appreciate it if some experienced riders could help guide me in the right direction, thanks.

Is it normal for a man in who is about 63 to go out on a motorcycle fall then refuse treatment in a hospital?

when he has burned his legs knowing he is a diabetic. I am trying to figure out what is going on in the mind of this man. He doesn't want his wife working & she started back at a teaching job last week. Is he trying to get her to quit her job. Wouldn't most people who have diabetes & barely can feel their feet stop riding a motorcycle at age 63. I would like some mature perspectives of this. Thank you.
I am wondering if this man is mentally doing some things a person with good mental health wouldn't do at this age.
