Question #1:
What kind of bikes are available to people over 6 foot tall?
I am 6 foot 1 inch, and I quickly realized that motorcycles aren't usually made for taller people. I tried on a Ninja 250, and could fit if i adjusted my legs into a very cramped position, which was far from being practical. Having said that however, I am a highschool senior, and have next to no experience with motorcycles. So bikes with huge engines(and a bigger frame) are kind of a grey area for me. Is there any middle ground between a small bike for small riders, and an insane huge motor for anyone? Thanks for your time!Question #2:
anyone that can help me chose between a harley and a honda?
this has been driving me nuts for over a year now. i have a honda rebel 250 that ive had for a while. im gonna take a riders course soon to learn how to drive better because i kind of suck at it right now. in a couple years i thought about getting a new bike. but the problem is im stuck on these 2 beautiful machines. ones a honda cbr 600 (the sport bike) and the other is a harley davidson 1200 low. im 18 and i have to pick one of these babies to keep for a while. the problem is my dad and most the people we know are big harley riders or cruisers and im the only on ein love with sport bikes. i mean i LOVE this honda. i recently seen the harley and love it but not as much as the honda. in your opinion which bike do you think would be best for me? i mean im in love with speed but im not stupid and can control myself. but i keep thinking, what if i wanted to go on long trips? would it still be worth having a sport bike or a comfy harley? the trips arent that long its probably about 50 miles. would that be bad on my back if i were to get a sport bike there priced the same. would sportbike insurance be more? would it be wierd to run with a bunch of harley dudes on a sport bike? do you think a sportbike would be right for me when i get better at riding? i mean cuz the position and feeling is completely different right? please please help i dont know what to do and im tearing myself inhalf. go with my dad that wants me to have a nice harley and he hates sportbikes? or follow the georgeous bike ive been wanting since i was 12 and madly in love with?? put yourself in my shoes.aw man thats the thing. i cant pick a bike thats in the middle. but i will look at buells... i wonder how much a good sportbike buell is that looks like a honda or something. good idea

Question #4:
Wanting to join the Military?
Ok, I am a 16 year old Female that weighs around 230 pounds... I know that that is a LOT. I really want to go into the military.. I know that if i want to meat the requirements for any branch I have to be at least around 150 pounds. So i have a couple of questions...1. are there any web sites that would help someone like me lose that much weight in so little time? (im going into 11th grade and i want to enter right after high school)
2. do you know which branch i would be most likely to succeed in? I get mostly A's and B's in school and the occasional C.
Right now since im trying to lose weight i have been biking 3-5 miles a day and walking 2-3 miles. Except for sunday. But school starts this tuesday and i will only have time to do so much. Since I am taking an AP bio class and I do bible quizzing and have marching band. I have no idea what to do about losing this weight. so if any one could help that would be great!
P.S. don't just say eat right and exercise that's a given. Or puking because that's just disgusting and stupid.

Question #6:
If I paid for a Bod Pod test for my BMI, would the US Army except it?
Ok, I am a 31 yr old female. I have been in the military for 12 years. I weight 179lbs and I am 5'6". I know that I need to lose a few lbs (the Army says I should weight 164). Now, were I am having a problem at is that when I got tape tested the other day, they told me I was 41% body fat. 1 month ago I was 188lbs and was at 40% body fat. I lost almost 10lbs but gained a percent in body fat. Not likely. A person with 41% body fat qualifies for gastric bypass surgery. I don't believe I am that big. I am a size 14, I can pass the Army APFT and I regularly bike. (Completed a 82 mile bicycle ride in July) and ride in my off time. I am wondering if I were to pay for a Bod Pod test, if the Army would except it and lift my flag for the Army Weight Control Program. I am just tired of being told I am fat (almost 50% body fat).Question #7:

Question #9:
What motorbike is for me?
I haven't been a huge bike fan until recently, so I'm not to knowledgeable about them. I know I'm in love with the Vincent Black Shadow. I've been looking at Triumph recently, and I quite like the Speedmaster, but the tires seem a bit small, and it isn't quite perfect. I don't want a sports bike, but I don't want a chopper either, or a big noisy Harley. Just something quick, relatively quiet and a throwback look to the Black Shadow.Question #10:

Could you recommend me an economical good quality bike stand?
For home bike repair and for every day bike storage, I prefer anything under $50.... So far I have only used my living room "wall' for my Bike. But when I was fixing my flat tire, I thought it would be much better if I had a bike stand.... looked on Amazon, found a really nice one, but it cost $99 up. I can not afford it.Click Here
Question #14:
Is this a good deal for a mountain bike?

Question #15:
Is this a good and healthy routine or not?
I want to burn fat off my thighs and stomach. I have muscular calves but I have learnt to love them. Anyway I want to lose at least 10 pounds, I'm going to do a good routine for 3 weeks, just wanted to make sure it's not useless...Every morning I have 1 cup of Special K cereal. Then I do a brisk pace on my bike for 30 minutes, when I come back I do 100 sit-ups, 500 jumping jacks, 80 squats, and I don't know what this is called but you stand up against a wall like you're sitting on a chair, it burns calories, I do that for 2 minutes.
For lunch I have a sandwhich and/or some fruit or a granola bar NOT the ones with chocolate I know lol.
For dinner, I have potatoes, meat, or even cereal again if I'm not too hungry.
If I really need a snack during the day I will have fruit.
I'm staying away from sodas and sugary drinks and drinking lots of water.
If I could do better, please be honest and tell me!! Thanks everyone ;)
Question #16:
How long will it take to get fit enough to cycle 14 miles a day?
I've just moved and have found parking at my workplace is non existent and buses are really expensive. I want to improve my fitness anyway and have a bike. How long do you think it will take me to get fit enough to cycle a 14 mile round trip daily? I'm pretty unfit at the moment. What sort of training regime would you recommend to improve my overall fitness for cycling?I understand this is not going to be a quick thing but it'd be great to have a target to aim for, I do like challenges.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Question #17:
how do you face up to thoughts you find extremely upsetting , unbearable?
im 32 and journeyed through quite a few adversities in my life, prison , violence , victimisation in earlier life , social problems , people problems , mental and psychological problems.my mum / dad divorced when i was in my late teens, im close to both parents, my dad remarried and is doing ok , late 50s , hes very fit and keeps in top shape, in the gym and bike riding regularly. doesn't smoke etc.
but my mum who im particularly very close to , has smoked all her life , shes late 50s too, older than my dad , shes 59 - she has lived with emphesema for years but assures me shes ok, she gets up to see me , i live miles away , stays with me.
she has been my best friend through life as well as a loving mum, as im getting older im starting to get to the awareness of mortality more and more - and i cant bare the thought of her passing on and leaving me....it breaks my heart.
me , ive lived a solitary life on sick pay for 6 years in my own flat, owning few material possessions - because of my introverted nature and social problems , SO FAR , ive NEVER built up any relationships ever in life.......so LITERALLY , IM quite ALONE in life , apart from my mother .
my dad lived far away and has remarried etc. we were close but never as close as me and my mum.
how can i deal with the ever lingering thoughts about death and my mum passing on ? just the thought devastates me , shes always been there through everything it frightens me so much the thought of her not being there anymore .............i feel abandoned and devastated by the thought even .
Question #18:
Why do i gain fat on my stomach, not on the butt and legs?
Hi!I'm 18 years old of hourglass shape (34-27-37). The breasts are tiny, which is A/B cup but I am overally quite slim, so they are not a problem (well, they aren't as long as I dont compare them to other girls' ones). By 'slim' I mean small butt and toned legs, however, the stomach and upper body have their layers of fat which makes my breasts and the butt look smaller optically. I often ride a bike, so there's no fat on the legs. I'm not going any workouts on the stomach.
How to enhance natural hourglass and what to do to reverse the storage of fat (not gaining on stomach but gaining on butt)? Should I give up cycling? What excercises do you recomment without going to the gym? (not that i dont want to go, but want to start now..)
Is it possible to gain more butt as we age, e.g. through genetics?
cheers x
